22 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, Thus you shall bless the people of Israel: you shall say to them, 24 The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; 26 the Lord lift up his countenance[c] upon you and give you peace. 27 “So shall they put my name upon the people of Israel (Jewish tradition says placing my name on their hands), and I will bless them.”
Blessings still come to those who GOD keeps in the wilderness. The barrenness of the season does not negate GOD's ordained blessings. The season might appear to be cursed, but that doesn't mean we are not blessed.
You and I are still blessed because:
1. The Lord speaks well over us - the blessing is in GOD's word. 2. The Lord shines on us with grace and kindness. 3. The Lord gives us royal favor and the provision of peace. 4. The Lord has given us His name and presence which follow us wherever we go.
