I am Determined to be Glad

“I am Determined to be Glad”

Psalm 105: 3-5, ESV

3 Glory in his holy name, let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice! 4 Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually! 5 Remember the wondrous works that he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he uttered,

How does this Psalm aid us in seeking gladness during tough times.  This passage:    

  1. Helps us to discover a proper focal point for glory - glorying in the Holy Name of the Lord gives the singers of the Psalm the opportunity to allow their hearts to seek the Lord.  As GOD is sought, the heart rejoices.  
  2. Encourages us to seek the Lord’s strength and presence.  The remedy to much of emptiness is the overflowing presence of GOD in our lives.  
  3. Calls us to re engage our memories to remember GOD’s

A grateful and faithful Christian ought to have a few things to say and some "stuff" they ought to want to get off of their chests.
