Vindicated

Vindicated

Psalm 25:1-3, New Living Translation

Psalm 25[a] A psalm of David.
1 O Lord, I give my life to you. 2  I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced, or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat. 3 No one who trusts in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others.
Advent = arrival - And thru the Advent of the Son of GOD in Jesus - The Son of GOD visits creation doing the work of:
  1. Incarnation - embodying the presence of GOD
  2. Reconciliation - redeeming the people of GOD
  3. Vindication - judging the enemies of the justice and goodness of GOD
It is in the crucible of pensive relief and passionate anguish we wait;  Actively waiting on GOD to do what we cannot do on our own.
Thus like David we:
  1. Lift our souls to the One who is Higher - we make the intentional soul effort to reach higher than where we are, understanding the Lord is the source of our vindication.
  2. Trust GOD for protection, guidance, and pardon
  3. Believe that my integrity will be vindicated and not put to shame - there is no shame in trusting, waiting, and depending upon GOD.
